STEM THEMES: Architecture and Engineering

OVERVIEW: This book features the signature homes of architects Frank Lloyd Wright, Phillip Johnson and Frank Gehry. It’s a great starting point for further research on these architects or for a ‘three little pigs’ inspired engineering challenge.

DESCRIPTION FROM THE PUBLISHER: In this quirky re-telling, the homes of the three pigs are signature homes of three famous architects (made out of scraps, glass and stone & concrete) and the interiors are furnished by the architects and their contemporaries. Of course, not all the houses are going to protect the pigs from the wolf’s huffing and puffing. But when one of the houses holds up, it’s the wolf who’s in for a surprise ending.
