Look no further than the parents and carers outside your classroom! From pilots and doctors to engineers and economists, every school has a unique community of adults, many of whom work within STEM careers. What’s more, they’re often more than happy to offer their time for free!
– Reach out to the parents and carers at your school to find out what STEM expertise they have to share.
– Create a’parent/carers STEM skill set document’ that you can draw upon throughout the year to link parents to STEM projects.
– Organise a STEM day, inviting a range of parents and carers in for question and answer sessions.
